Julia Jimenez was a United States Army soldier for about two years that decided that the Army was not for her. Therefore, she is currently attending the university of New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. She is pursuing her acting, directing, and modeling career. Her ambition is to become the first Mexican women to have her own company. Julia is also passionate about filmmaking and has written, produced, and even performed in her own little short films, and during her free time during the summer she focus on herself and likes to travel.  Julia is a well-rounded individual who lives with passion, dedication, and grace.

Hey everyone,

           Instagram has been a great help to promote my career. I’ve meet very talented people through Instagram. They helped me grow as a person and as a professionist. My followers have been a great support on who I am known. I’ve come to believe that there is no limit in life other than the one you put to yourself. Anyways, Instagram has so many great features, privacy, and security terms. It is very easy to use. I never had a bad experience with Instagram, but the only thing that I have noticed it that there are people creating accounts with my name and pictures. Yes! my fans can post my pictures, but that's not what I’m referring to what I’m talking about is that there are people that are passing themselves like they are me, Juliabadbutt. I don't want my fans dealing or conversing with someone that we don't know what his or her intentions are. I understand that there are a lot of people with the same name around the world, but they should allow one account for each individual even after they forget their password. This would help stop fake accounts and the repetition of account owners.

Instagram is an efficient way of sharing photos and video clips with your friends. It has a map feature that gives the location of where you took that picture or where that is you are at the moment of sharing your picture or video clip. You can tag people that were with you at the moment. You can improve your picture by editing it with Instagram filters. You can crop, cut, blur, and even write on your pictures before sharing it. You can add hash tags, in text, and emojis. It is all optional.  People can comment and like your picture and it notifies you when that happens and which one of your followers did it. In your news feed you can see your follower’s pictures and video clips and vice versa. It’s a really fun and simple way to communicate with the people around you.

The terms used for Instagram is very specific and easy to understand if you have any concerns regarding your rights and obligations for the app. You must be 13 years old to create an account or if you’re under age you need your parents’ permission to create the account. You cannot post any type of nudes, violent post, discriminatory, unlawful, hateful, pornographic or sexual suggestive photos or other contents via the service at any time. You are responsible for any activity that occurs on your account and you cannot sell, transfer, license or assign your account, followers, username, or any account rights. Except people or businesses that are authorized to create account by their employers or clients, Instagram does not permit creations of and you agree that you cannot create an account for anyone other than yourself. Also any information provided when creating an account has to be accurate, true, current and complete and need to keep your account up to date with any new or changed information. You agree that you cannot use others users account. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and secure. You cannot bully, stalk, abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate anyone and you must not post private or confidential information via the service. You cannot use people’s credit card information, social security number, and any type of national identity number, non-public phone numbers or non-public email addresses. And many more terms that you would like to read if you are interested in not doing anything illegal or out of your hands. Don’t do actions that look good, but are actually bad. It is very helpful for those who are promoters or business people. I recommend you take the time to read it carefully and it’s really simple and easy to read and it won’t take you more than 30 minutes of your time.

Instagram has the best private policy because they work with other companies to collect, use, share, and protect our information from your mobile service, web sites, and any software provided on or in connection with Instagram services. The information they collect from you is your username, password and email address that you use when you register for an Instagram account. Also you first and last name, pictures, and phone number that allows your friends to find you if you connect your phone number to your Instagram account. There are many great advantages that you can get by Instagrams private policy but like I have said before you need to read their page information to get a more clear understanding.

Julia is the reason I’m pursuing my cosmetology major. Before I was working on a social worker major, but it was not something I liked. It was something my parents wanted me to do because it’s well paid. I was not happy and I was not going to spend the rest of my life doing something I didn't like. I was just trying to give my parents the satisfaction. What was that Julia said that made an impact in my life? She said “I've learned over the years many long years it took to find out that I was and what I loved and what I loved about myself and why I'm important. After the billions of questions, I had to answer and discover on my own I love me. People need to understand self-love is the most important love you could have because when you learn to love yourself well the love you give to others is a greater love swell when you love yourself you perform well. Just LOVE YOURSELF, FOREVER.” After reading this I had a conversation with my parents regarding my major and I they understood that I had to study something I liked no matter how well or and played it was. I wouldn’t had found such an increadible inspiration if we Instagram didn’t exist. Instagram connects you with people you might never meet in your life but you still a somewhat connection with them by social networks like Instagram. This is a great app not just for personal, but for business and entertainment. You can learn a lot from people that are following their dreams of being actors, photographer’s, models, singers, directors, artist and many other professions that are being done by using Instagram.
