Blogger #3 Encryption

This article talks about the concerns that arise from government wanting too much control over encryption. The article is trying to get the audience to be concerned about the governments uncontrollable want of controlling everyone's privacy. This article is illustrating the problems that would arise if the government would get their way with these new encryption chips, that they want in every bank card. This would allow them to gain full access and monitor all transactions from any and every bank. This would cause a great deal of privacy violations and would not be worth the cost that the government wants to put into developing this new DES system. This system would add a back door to bank encryption and there for render the whole point of encryption completely useless.
