You
Tube vs Vine
I narrowed my list of
five website down to these two websites known as Youtube.com and Vine. Although
Vine is mainly used as an application on cell phones, it serves sort of the
same purpose. It’s used to record videos and post them, as you can do with you
tube. Both are used to record either a video, a message, a tutorial,
entertainment or whatever you want to record to your liking. Many different
people use these sites or applications for different reasons. Both men and
women use these sources on the regular for different purposes. Whether it be
trying to send a message, for exposure, or just for fun. Mainly for the purpose
to pass on a message, either through music, a video or skit, or even a tutorial
to pass on a learning.
I
believe men and women of all ages use Youtube.com for their own personal
reasons. Many famous people have been discovered because of this website. Music
artist have been found, also comedians or actors have been discovered through
Youtube.com. For example, people record videos or music and then post it on
youtube.com, which then goes viral all around the world, which allows people to
view it. If people show interest in your videos, many people will view it. All views
get added up and in turn show if people are interested in whatever it is you
are posting.
Vine
on the other hand is also a video recording based application. However, I think
Vine is mainly used for people to record videos for entertainment purposes as
well as to capture the moment in a video. I’ve noticed many people use vine for
entertainment purposes. Users create their own genre of video in there
recording. Whether it be for comedy, a skit for acting, possibly even for
promotion, etc. Often users cut and edit videos to create an entertaining type
of video.
