Metro

I would want to improve Metro by accurately having the buses get to your stop on time without glitches and have Metro post on light posts the Stop Number so everyone can know ahead of time what time the bus is coming without having to wait hours for the next bus. It gets quite annoying when you have the webpage open and it tells you the time the bus is coming but not which one.

For people like me who rely on metro to get us places can be challenging. Metro has a website (metro.net) that provides you with options like: Maps, Timetables, Fares/TAP, Code of Conduct, Project labor, Nextrip, Mobile, 511, Careers, and Contact. Luckily I found out about Nextrip thanks to my bus stop. On a light post I saw that on a little dark purple sign, it had my route number (stop number). You enter the given number where it says “Enter stop number” and then it gives you options that read: Route (select your bus route), Direction (your destination), Stop (the place you are waiting for the bus). Then in a light blue box it tells you the time and what bus is coming, depending if the route you take has a short line and the regular route. But unfortunately, metro has quite a few glitches.  First, not all bus stops have the stop number posted. Secondly, the website sometimes tends to show you the time it is coming but doesn’t differentiate between the two buses.
